Three years ago, Marwan Abdelhamid, known as Saint Levant, stood at a crossroads, fueled by a burning desire to make music but held back by a lack of resources. In that pivotal moment, he turned to his mentor, Tarek Lubani, a remarkable Palestinian doctor. Marwan shared his dream of creating music that resonated with his soul and conveyed his story to the world.
Tarek listened intently and then asked a question that would change everything: "What do you need to bring this idea to life?" Marwan needed $5,000 to build a home studio where he could hone his skills and produce music independently. Without hesitation, Tarek provided the $5,000 with one important condition: "You have to pay it forward."
This simple yet profound condition sparked the creation of the 2048 Foundation.
